Pat and Helga Scaringe opened Indianapolis Sports Park in 1986. Pat had a dream of owning a quality park that would be a recreational spot for the surrounding community. Since the open date, Pat and Helga continue to add additional leagues and facilities. They have four children that have all been actively involved with the park since it opened. Pat is a perfectionist that continues to work on the grounds daily, doing a lot of maintenance work himself. Pat retired from General Motors earlier this year.

Helga helped build the park from the ground up. After managing the park part-time for a year, she quit her full-time job as a lawyer at Indianapolis Life Insurance to manage the park full-time. She spent many days working long hours to make the park what it is today. Helga practically raised her four kids at the park. She currently manages ISP operations. Helga obtained her Law Degree from Indiana University.

Kim Wiesmann began her position as Business Affairs Director in September 2002 managing the finances, marketing and the daily business operations of Indianapolis Sports Park and is dedicated to it's ongoing  improvement and growth. She is a graduate of Ball State University, where she receive her B.A. in Communications and Indiana Univeristy, where she received her Masters in Public Affairs. She is married to Jason Wiesmann and has 2 daughters, Alexis and Addison. 

Kory Scaringe is the Tournament Director for Indianapolis Sports Park. He also manages the park several nights a week. Kory received his Bachelor of Arts in Education from Ball State University. He is currently a Physical Education teacher at Southport 6th Grade Academy.

Kyle graduated from Ball State with his Bachelors Degree in General Studies and IUPUI with a teaching degre. He is currently a Social Studies teacher at Southport High School. He is a huge sports fan and enjoys working at the park. He is married to Corrie Scaringe and has one daugther, Kendall.

Sara graduated in May 2009 from the University of Indianapolis with a Bachelor Degree in Sport Management and a minor in Psychology.

The 2010 season umpires will be led by Chief Umpire Todd Schultheis. Todd returns for his 4th year as chief umpire and 10th consecutive year as an umpire at ISP. Todd is certified as an NSA, ASA, USSSA, and IHSAA umpire and leads as chief umpire for league play umpires and during all local tournaments at ISP. During NSA State and World tournaments, Todd will assist the NSA State director and State UIC in organizing and leading umpires at ISP. Todd is a Chemical Engineer at Baxter Pharmaceutical Solutions in Bloomington Indiana. Please contact Todd for any questions concerning NSA rules or interests in becoming an umpire.

Gertrud has been a loyal staff member since the park opened. You will find her serving with a smile in the back barn.
